About 5 weeks ago (mid-January 2014) Khun May and I were driving down Soi Leng Kee to China Garden which is our favorite Chinese (English-style) restaurant in Pattaya when we saw a shop for rent.

We stopped and asked the shop owner about the rent and terms.

We went for our meal but were so excited about the possibility of taking over the shop as an office that we couldn’t eat our meal!

We went back to the shop and started to think how the space could work for us as an office.

Khun May was about to give the Owner a holding deposit when I stopped her.
Something did not feel right about the shop.

We went home and got on with looking for an office in another location.

During the next week my sleep was disturbed on Monday and Tuesday by dreaming about this shop on Soi Leng Kee.

Not wanting a 3rd sleepless night we visited the shop again on the Wednesday.

I looked at the shop and tried to work out what had subconsciously troubled me about it.

It was the signs!
The configuration of the outside signage didn’t feel right to me.

So we spoke with the Owner who agreed that we could cut, reposition and re-weld the signs at the front of the office to suit our requirements.

A Lease was agreed and we started to work on reconfiguring the outside signage, rewiring the shop which was to become our new office, and designing internal graphics.

Most of the work was finished by Friday, 21 February.

On Saturday, 22 February we moved the office furniture and computers from Tara Court to the new office.

Sunday was spent emptying boxes and setting up new systems.

Monday, 24 February was the beginning of a new chapter for Five Star Villas & Condos in their new office on Soi Leng Kee, Pattaya.

The first one is the main one over the front of the property.
You will notice that we are still waiting for the window displays to be fitted.
These are being made and should be fitted by 12 March (T.I.T.)
